The variety forms compact heads weighing 90–120 g with wavy, dense leaves. The outer leaves have a greenish color with a reddish-brown tint; the inner leaves are light green.
The plant possesses winter hardiness, which allows it to be used for pre-winter sowing. Suitable for cultivation in open field and unheated greenhouses. Due to a tendency for early bolting at high temperatures, the variety is not intended for summer cultivation.
