The plant forms a compact head with curly light green leaves, possessing high uniformity and good product plasticity. The variety is intended for sale on the fresh market and for cultivation in orangeries and greenhouses during the autumn-spring period.

Bifrie RZ possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:16-37EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (race Nr:0). The plant is characterized by adaptability to temperature and light fluctuations, which allows it to be grown in off-season conditions.
