Variety description

Desirade RZ is a mini lettuce with a large number of leaves in a rosette weighing 120–200 g. The plant is characterized by an early maturation period of 25 to 40 days and a crunchy leaf texture.
The variety has high resistance to downy mildew races Bl:29, 30, 32, 33EU and to lettuce aphid Nr:0. The produce is distinguished by high uniformity and a long shelf life.
The crop is intended for the fresh market and is suitable for all-season cultivation in protected ground and hydroponics. A feature of the Salanova® concept is the possibility of separating the entire rosette into ready-to-use leaves with a single cut.
