The variety forms a medium-sized, flat-round head with a well-closed base. Development characteristics include slow head filling, which extends the harvest period, and flat leaf veins.
The use of Knox technology prevents the browning of cuts and leaf damage. The variety is resistant to bolting, internal necrosis, lettuce vein necrosis, downy mildew (races Bl:29-37, 39-41EU), Fusarium oxysporum (Fol:4), and the aphid Nasonovia ribisnigri (Nr:0).
