The Evola variety, also known by the code name LM 8630, belongs to the Butterhead lettuce group. The plant is intended for cultivation in protected ground conditions, i.e., in greenhouses.
Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by the absence of anthocyanins, due to which the leaves have a pure green color without a reddish tint. In addition to the main characteristics of the Butterhead type, traits characteristic of crisphead lettuce may be observed in the leaf structure.
