The Silvinas variety belongs to the Iceberg type and has a vegetation period of 60–80 days. The plant forms slightly flattened heads with dense green leaves, possessing high marketable qualities.
The crop exhibits resistance to powdery mildew (HR: Bl: 16–36EU), currant-lettuce aphid (Nr: 0), as well as to bolting and tipburn. The recommended planting density is from 7 to 12 plants per 1 m².
The variety is suitable for fresh market sale and further processing.
