The Panukia variety belongs to butterhead lettuces and is intended for cultivation under protected conditions. The plant forms dense, medium to large heads having a characteristic medium green color and high-quality structure of the base.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races 29–40. The variety is widely used in professional vegetable farming, as well as in agrotechnical research dedicated to seed processing and pelleting technologies.
