The iceberg-type lettuce Papiro is a late-maturing variety with a growing season of approximately 80 days. The plant is adaptable and capable of gradual formation of large, round-shaped heads with dark green leaves.
The variety possesses resistance to tipburn, bolting, and downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) races Bl:16, 21, 23, 32EU. It is intended for open-field cultivation during the summer period and is used for fresh market sales, culinary purposes, and processing.
