The variety forms a rosette with crunchy leaves and a dense heart. The plant is intended for fresh market sales and is cultivated in the open field during the autumn, winter, and spring periods.

The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew races Bl: 16–28, 30, 32 EU and to the aphid species Nasonovia ribisnigri (Nr: 0). Also, intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV-1) has been recorded.
