The plant has a compact, open structure and forms a head with a round base, which facilitates cutting. Leaves are dense, light green, with a wavy margin and short internodes.
The variety possesses high resistance to lettuce downy mildew (races 29–40EU) and currant-lettuce aphid (race 0). Intermediate resistance is noted to lettuce mosaic virus (race 1) and Fusarium wilt (race 4).
