The variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce type (Laitue beurre). The mature plant reaches a height of about 20 cm and forms a sufficiently dense head. The leaves are distinguished by a tender texture, lack of bitterness, and a pleasant taste.
The plant is hardy and vigorous, however, it is prone to premature bolting under unfavorable conditions. The variety is sensitive to slug damage, and its modification "à forcer" is specialized for early harvest production in greenhouses or cold frames.
