Butterhead lettuce forms dense closed heads. The leaves have a glossy surface, slightly blistered texture, and yellow-green color.

The variety is intended for year-round cultivation in the open field, hotbeds, and film greenhouses. The produce has good keeping quality.

The plant possesses high resistance to bolting, downy mildew Bremia lactucae, and tolerance to various rots. It is a successor to the Smaragd variety.
