The Tambay (84-31 RZ) variety belongs to the baby leaf and Batavia types. The plant forms voluminous leaves with a high degree of incision. The maturity period is 35–45 days, and the weight of a full-grown plant reaches 250–350 g.
The plant possesses high resistance to bolting, which allows for cultivation during different periods of the year. The variety has complex resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:16-37EU), lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1).
The lettuce is suitable for cultivation in open and protected ground, as well as hydroponics at a planting density of 10–12 plants per 1 m². The leaves are characterized by durability, which ensures marketability during transport and processing.
