The lettuce variety Tanakan (breeding code E01C.31335) is intended for cultivation in open field conditions. The crop is characterized by high adaptability to various production conditions.

The plant possesses complex resistance to pathogens, including resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:29-41EU) and Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lactucae, race Fol:4). Resistance to the currant-lettuce aphid (Nr:0) is also confirmed.
