The plant forms large heads with wavy leaf margins of a deep red color, which remains stable throughout the entire vegetation period. The variety is suitable for cultivation in the open field in spring, summer, and autumn.
Trival RZ possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl:29–37, 39–41EU) and lettuce aphid (Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol:1). It demonstrates resistance to bolting and leaf tip burn, and is characterized by good keeping quality after harvest.
