The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and is suitable for planting in spring, summer, and autumn. It is characterized as mid-late in terms of bolting, possessing the ability to delay the emergence of the flower stalk. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to powdery mildew and lettuce mosaic virus.
The variety name indicates the presence of white seeds, which distinguishes it from the Trocadéro à graine noire variety. It is also known by the historical synonyms Lorthois and Big Boston.
