The plant forms a neat upright rosette 18–22 cm long with dense compact heads. The leaves are dark green, glossy, with slight blistering. In the warm season, the head is distinguished by a small core and high uniformity of produce.
The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, isolates Bl:29, 32, 34, 36, 39, 40 EU), Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV), and corky root rot (Sphingomonas suberifaciens / Rs). It shows intermediate resistance (IR) to Lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1). It is characterized by resistance to bolting and tipburn.
