The Burgoldeen variety, also known under the trade name Goldburg, is a compact shrub with medium-textured foliage. The main distinguishing feature is variegation: the grayish leaves have characteristic white-cream spotting.

The plant forms dark blue fragrant spike inflorescences. The variety is characterized as slow-growing, reaching a height of about 30 cm and a width of up to 40 cm. It is a perennial plant adapted to hardiness zone 4.

The variety is intended for ornamental gardening, valued for the appearance of its foliage and long flowering period in the summer, as well as the possibility of being used in dried bouquets.
