Variety description

The plant is a compact, bushy and dense low-growing shrub about 30 cm in height with short flower stalks about 18 cm long. Grey-green aromatic leaves are complemented by bright purple inflorescences, gathered in dense compact spike-like heads 1.5 to 4 cm long.

The variety prefers a sunny location and well-drained soils. Due to its small size, it is optimally suited for use in landscape design for creating borders, rock gardens, and for cultivation in containers in small gardens.
