Variety description

The plant is a dense evergreen subshrub 25–50 cm in height, with a comparable width. It is distinguished by a compact habit and uniformity during vegetative propagation.

It blooms in early to mid-summer with short, dense, pompon-shaped inflorescences of a saturated violet-blue or deep purple color on 15–20 cm long peduncles. With timely pruning of faded spikes, repeat flowering is possible.

The variety possesses drought tolerance and resistance to damage by a number of pests. It is sensitive to stagnant moisture in the soil, which can cause root rot. All parts of the plant have a pronounced aroma.
