The plant is a small compact shrub, reaching 0.3–0.5 m in height and width. The foliage has a characteristic grayish color, and the flowers are lavender-blue.

The variety prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils. It is used in ornamental gardening, as well as for producing plant material suitable for drying, making sachets, or culinary use.
