Variety description

The variety is a perennial subshrub with narrow velvety leaves of a gray-green color. The inflorescences are colored in a deep dark blue or "royal" blue, sometimes with a purple or bluish tint.

The plant reaches a height of about 70 cm. Flowering is prolonged, usually occurring in the period from June to August. The variety prefers sunny locations and well-drained, often dry soils.
