The variety belongs to the population type and was created as a result of a breeding program aimed at overcoming lavender wilt. It is intended for the needs of the perfumery, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries, ensuring stable essential oil quality.

A key advantage is resistance to the Stolbur phytoplasma, which allows for the maintenance of plantations in regions where the disease is prevalent. The variety does not possess full immunity and requires the implementation of agrotechnical measures to control the insect vector of the infection, Hyalesthes obsoletus.
