The variety was bred from initial material of Italian origin. The plant is characterized by a hemispherical bush shape.

It belongs to the lavandin group, which determines its biological characteristics. The essential oil content is higher than that of Lavandula angustifolia varieties and reaches a maximum in the full flowering phase.

It is used for the production of essential oil and is also an object of scientific research on the study of its chemical composition and antioxidant properties.
