The variety is the result of clonal selection based on the Hungarian lavandin variety «Judit». The plant forms a neat hemispherical bush which, compared to the «Grosso» variety, has a looser habit and a lighter shade of inflorescences. Flowering of the variety occurs in early July.

The plant is adapted to cultivation in various conditions, including mountainous regions, and prefers calcareous soils. The variety exhibits high drought tolerance and is propagated exclusively by vegetative means due to the lack of viable seeds.

The main value of the variety lies in its exceptionally high essential oil content, ranging from 5.9% to 9.3%. The quality profile of the oil, determined by the ratio of linalool and linalyl acetate, allows for obtaining a product with a characteristic lavender aroma, comparable in characteristics to the world standard «Grosso».
