The plant is a low-growing compact shrub. The foliage is narrow and colored gray-green.
Flowers of a light violet or light blue shade are gathered in dense spike-like inflorescences up to 8 cm long. Flowering occurs in the period from June to September.
The variety is winter hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -15...-10°C. The plant is drought-tolerant and requires a sunny location and well-drained soils. Due to its compact size, the variety is suitable for container cultivation and creating borders.
