Variety description

The plant is a densely branched, hemispherical bush 25–45 cm in height with a crown diameter of 30–45 cm. The leaves are narrow, silvery-green or glaucous in shade, and may have a felt-like coating. Flowers of a saturated violet or deep blue-violet color are collected in dense, spike-like inflorescences with a characteristic fragrance.
The variety's flowering period lasts from early or mid-July until the beginning of autumn. The plant is drought-tolerant, possesses stiff stems resistant to lodging, and is not damaged by deer or rabbits. It prefers sunny areas with good drainage, as it is sensitive to winter waterlogging.
