The Águeda variety belongs to the Lenteja Pardina type. In the course of agronomic studies, it was classified as early-maturing, demonstrating some of the shortest ripening periods among the tested samples. Plants of this variety have a small height.

This variety is adapted to cultivation conditions in the central part of Spain and is often used in scientific research as a control sample for studying sowing strategies, including comparing the effectiveness of winter and spring cycles.
