The variety belongs to the red lentil type. It is mid-late in terms of flowering and mid-early in reaching maturity, with the overall maturity group defined as mid-maturing. Plants have average height and sufficient resistance to lodging.

Seeds are characterized by a gray-chocolate color of the coat and a coral color of the cotyledons. The thousand kernel weight is low and amounts to 20–26 grams. The variety has a high protein content and is well adapted for the decortication process. The crop is intended for food purposes and can also be used for green manure or in mixed cropping.
