The seeds of this variety are large and flat, light yellow in color. The thousand kernel weight reaches 63.9 g. Culinary properties are characterized by a medium-long cooking time, an indicator that is one of the highest among a number of Greek varieties.

The variety is recognized as drought-tolerant and often acts as a model genotype when studying plant reactions to moisture deficit. In field conditions, the variety demonstrates relatively low susceptibility to diseases and high yield potential. It is used as a food crop, genetic material for breeding, and as an object for intercropping system research.
