The flowering period occurs from June–August. The variety is frost-resistant, withstands temperatures below -20°C, and belongs to USDA hardiness zones 3–4. It exhibits drought tolerance and prefers sunny sites with well-drained, light, calcareous soils.
It is used in landscape design for decorating rock gardens, stony gardens, rockeries, and container gardening.
