Variety description

The plant has lanceolate shiny leaves with serrated margins. The flowering period occurs in May–June, when white bell-shaped flowers appear on the bush, gathered in drooping raceme-like inflorescences.

The variety prefers partial shade or full shade, acidic, humus-rich, well-drained and moist soils. The plant is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -17...-23 °C, is relatively resistant to diseases and pests, however, it is sensitive to Armillaria.
