The variety is a dense bushy shrub 30–50 cm in height and width. Leaves are lanceolate, narrow, with a serrated edge and a glossy surface. Foliage color changes seasonally: young leaves are red, mature ones are dark green, and in the autumn-winter period they acquire a deep purple-red hue.
Flowering occurs in May – June. Flowers are white, have an urn shape, and are gathered in short axillary racemes. The plant possesses winter hardiness corresponding to USDA zones 5–8 and is resistant to diseases and pests.
The cultivar is suitable for use in landscape design: creating low borders, planting in rock gardens and heather gardens. The variety is also suitable for container growing.
