Variety description

The variety originated as a seedling from open pollination of Ligustrum ovalifolium. The plant has a dense structure and thick, leathery-textured leaves. At 10 years of age, the shrub reaches a height and width of about 1.5 meters, with growth rates being twice as slow as traditional forms of the species.
In June-July, the variety forms creamy-white fragrant panicle inflorescences. The plant is winter-hardy down to -20°C, prefers moderately moist well-drained soils, and retains its foliage under mild winter conditions. Due to its compactness, the variety is suitable for container cultivation, shaping borders, and low hedges.
