ActiveLilium longiflorum Thunb. · Easter lily
Mak Niels Johannes Cornelis
10 August 2026
The trumpet-shaped flowers have a lemon-yellow hue, classified as light yellow (RHS 004D), and have no spotting. When in bright sunlight, the petals are prone to fading to white. The plant reaches a height of 100–125 cm.
The variety is primarily used in professional floriculture as a greenhouse cut flower crop, less frequently for container cultivation. Due to insufficient winter hardiness, the variety is sensitive to low temperatures and requires special conditions when cultivated in open field.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
