ActiveLilium longiflorum Thunb. · Easter lily
Mak Niels Johannes Cornelis
10 August 2026
The flowers of the variety have a characteristic elongated tubular shape and a uniform purple-crimson color without spots or stripes; the petal edges can be slightly wavy. The plant has a mild fragrance, and several flowers are positioned at the top of the stem.
The flowering period occurs in July–August. The variety prefers well-drained acidic soils. The plant is characterized by resistance to most diseases and frost hardiness, although winter covering is recommended in the first year after planting, and in regions with severe climates, stem cutting and soil mulching are recommended.
