The Miyabi variety belongs to the group of LO-hybrids, which combine the characteristics of Lilium longiflorum and Oriental lilies. The flower has a short-tubular shape, is directed sideways, and reaches 16 cm in diameter with a tube length of about 12 cm. The color of the flowers is bright pink with a lingonberry hue; a delicate fragrance is present.
The adult plant reaches a height of 110 cm and forms an inflorescence of 3–5 flowers on a sturdy stem. The variety is grown mainly for cut flower production, but is also suitable for garden cultivation. The plant requires agrotechnical care typical for this group of hybrids.
