Richmond lily belongs to LA-hybrids. The flowers are large, 15–22 cm in diameter, pure white with a greenish tint at the base of the petals. The stamens are velvety and brown. Each flower stalk forms from 3 to 15 buds, positioned upwards and outwards. The plant has a very mild, almost imperceptible fragrance.

The flower stalks reach a height of 90–120 cm and are noted for their strength, requiring no mandatory staking. The variety is mid-early; flowering in open field conditions occurs 70–75 days after emergence. The lily is resistant to leaf scorch and is characterized by winter hardiness down to -35°C, which corresponds to zone 4.
