Variety description

The variety belongs to the OT-hybrid group. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 120–150 cm, and under favorable conditions grows up to 180–200 cm. The stems are strong, however, staking is required during the flowering period due to the great height of the plant.

The flowers are large, with a diameter of up to 15–18 cm, and have a cup-shaped or wide-open form. The coloration is contrasting: the petals are burgundy-red with a characteristic yellow border and spotting. The plant has a pleasant fragrance and blooms in July–August.

The variety is distinguished by good winter hardiness and disease resistance, surpassing oriental hybrids in this regard. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, drained soil. It is used in ornamental gardening for decorating flower beds, borders, and for cutting.
