Plants of the Ara series are used in floral arrangements as fresh-cut or dried flowers, as well as in decorative gardening for landscaping flower beds, borders, and container cultivation. Inflorescences consist of small flowers 1–10 mm in size, collected in cymes.
Petal color varies depending on the trade name: Ara Lavender has a lilac-purple hue, Purple Ara is purple-blue, and Ara White is white. Vase life of cut flowers is 10–14 days.
Plants prefer sunny areas with well-drained soils and require moderate irrigation. Data on breeding history and disease resistance are absent in publications.
