The Rumianets variety is an ornamental annual plant. The bright pink flowers have a satin texture; a dark spot in the center of the flower is weakly expressed or almost absent.

Plant height is 30–60 cm. The flowering period lasts from June to September or late autumn; due to low seed set, the variety is able to maintain its ornamental qualities for a long time.

The variety is intended for use in gardening, in particular for creating group plantings, mixed borders, and borders.
