The variety is characterized by high-quality long fiber with a linear density of 64 tex, which is used for the production of elite apparel and decorative fabrics. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a standard for studying the influence of environmental conditions on fiber quality parameters.
Artemida is included in recommendations for integrated flax disease control. The breeding of the variety is aimed at adaptation to agrotechnical conditions and increasing resistance to diseases, including Fusarium.
