The Goldstern oilseed flax variety produces large golden-yellow seeds with a thousand kernel weight of 7 to 9 grams. The plants have medium height, and the flowers are light blue in color. The variety is characterized by medium maturity and moderate lodging resistance.

The plant is distinguished by low susceptibility to diseases, including gray mold and powdery mildew. The variety's production has a high oil content and increased seed swelling indices, which allows it to be used as a dietary product and raw material for pharmaceutical needs.
