The French variety "Iceberg" belongs to the group of winter forms of oil flax. Information about this variety is limited to mentions in official registers.

The Ukrainian spring oil flax variety "Айсберг" has a growing season of 86–92 days and a plant height of 50–57 cm. The flower is white, star-shaped, seeds are moderately brown with a thousand kernel weight of 7.7–8.1 g. The oil content in the seeds is 43.7–49.0% with a high iodine value.

The Ukrainian-bred variety is resistant to Fusarium wilt, lodging, and drought, and is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe zone. One should distinguish these varieties from the breeding line AAC Iceberg of Canadian origin.
