Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work focused on the fiber content in the stems. In the framework of RAPD analysis of flax varieties from the Ukrainian national collection, the genetic proximity of Hlobus to the varieties Esman and the sample Tomskyi-16/Prizyv-81//Prizyv-81 was established.

Under laboratory conditions, the variety is actively used to study callusogenesis and organogenesis. Research confirms the variety's ability to effectively form callus when exogenous phytohormones are added and to successfully obtain regenerants from immature embryos.
