The variety belongs to industrial fiber flax or combined types. It was obtained through hybridization followed by selection using the partial mass selection method. The goal of developing the variety was to combine high technical fiber quality with the production of high seed yields.

The plant possesses a shorter stem compared to typical fiber flax varieties. Due to increased lodging resistance, the variety is suitable for cultivation with a reduced seeding rate of approximately 1600 germinating seeds per square meter. The variety is intended for intensive industrial use.
