The Linetta variety was used primarily in scientific experiments, including research on mycorrhizal fungi, agrotechnical trials, and crop rotations conducted at the universities of Bonn and Halle. The variety also appeared in oil flax variety trials in Germany in 1994–1995.

A detailed description of the morphological and economic traits of the variety, such as maturity group, height, or disease resistance indicators, is absent from public registers. There is no current information on the commercial use of the variety in large-scale production.
