The plant is characterized as tall and belongs to mid-early varieties in terms of flowering and maturity dates. The thousand kernel weight is about 5.3 g.

The variety possesses very high tolerance to low temperatures. It is resistant to lodging and anthracnose, and has moderate resistance to Fusarium wilt.

The oil content in the seeds is about 37.1–38.8% of dry matter. The alpha-linolenic acid content reaches 50.2% of the total fatty acid content.
