The variety is tetraploid (4N) and belongs to the early maturity group. Plants reach a height of 80–100 cm and form loose turf with a large number of generative shoots. It is characterized by wide leaves up to 10 mm and an inflorescence in the form of a long loose panicle.
The variety possesses good resistance to snow mold, while being sensitive to severe snowless winters. Forage production is distinguished by a high concentration of sugars, excellent digestibility and energy value. The dry matter yield potential is 200–250 dt/ha, seed yield is 20–25 dt/ha.
Intended for pasture and hayfield use, primarily as a mown crop. It can be grown in pure stands or as part of grass mixtures, as well as an intermediate crop for green manure. Characterized by rapid initial growth and intensive regrowth after mowing.
