The variety is tetraploid and may be referred to by the synonym Kroto. Intended for cultivation both in pure stands and as part of grass mixtures for the production of green and dry forage mass.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness. The variety demonstrates active regrowth and shoot formation both at the beginning of the spring period and after each cut.
